Biography for Jay Tagline
Hello to ya'll! My name is Jay Tagline and I'm the second half of this phenomenal institution, that we like to call The Finecan Brothers. The origin of our company's name is more obvious than any of you can think of. In addition of being just a couple of good ole boys from Northern Finland (yap, that's the truth) me and my friend Larry have a huge share of things we're much common in. I got to know Larry while in high school we didn't have much to do in our sparetime so we'll just sit in the coffee shop and talk about country music, American popular culture and politics that we both are obsessed about.
I'd like to think myself as the kind of guy who just likes to wander around, see things, comment about them, make my own choices, set new standards, create something that everybody can recognize me of. The most remarkable influences to me in music and cinema come from the sixties and seventies, the so-called hippie-time. But I ain't smoking weed! There's just something about that era and I don't know what it is exactly. I might just have to drop some names and you'll figure it out yourselves... Okey, here we go: the hopes, the fears, Vietnam, Dustin Hoffman, Simon & Garfunkel, JFK, Bobby, Texas, Cadillac, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Campbell's soup cans and the old gritty exploitation films that we all love!
Huge fan of movies, HUGE! My own collection already includes aproximately 400 articles in various styles of motion picture. There's a big list of masterpieces, but some of my all-time favorites include The Graduate, Midnight Cowboy, The Shawshank Redemption, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid, American History X and The Pianist. In music I used to have a list of projects going on, but four years ago I slowed down, I just couldn't go out there anymore. But let me tell you, I'm still buzzing! Though I haven't been out there for quite some time now with the help of my friend Larry I'm coming back and hopefully my voice will find a way to your CD-players very soon!
I want to thank my pal Larry to have stood up there for me when I really needed understantment. To have born to a country where it seems to be a gift not to have gift at all, it can be extremely hard to find your own way and have your own voice heard. So thank you for sharing your views with mine. Building this company with anybody else than you would be pointless!
